European anti-piracy association AEPOC has appointed Philippe-Oliver Rousseau its new president.
He replaces 75-year-old Jean Grenier, the former director general of Eutelsat, who has retired after 13 years as president. Rousseau is a senior banker and managing director at BNP Paribas. He has also worked at French communications regulator the CSA and satellite services operators Eutelsat and Intelsat. AEPOC will next meet in March.
