Portuguese premium channel Sport TV, 50%-owned by pay-TV operator provider Zon MultimÃ©dia, has extended its contract to broadcast the football matches of the Portuguese league for another year.
The deal gives Sport TV rights to the game of the top two divisions, the Bwin Liga and Liga Vitalis for the 2012-13 season. The channel already holds the rights for the current and 2010-11 seasons under a deal struck in 2008.
