Michael Grindon is leaving Sony’s TV arm, Sony Pictures Entertainment. Grindon, who will stay on as president, SPT, until March, has been at Sony for 24 years.
Grindon’s is the most high-level departure since Sony combined what was called Sony Pictures International Television with Sony Pictures Television last year.
He said: “After 24 years managing the international television business for SPE, I believe that it is time for a change. Now is the right moment for me to move on to the next challenge.”
Prior to Sony Grindon was at HBO. He didn’t give any indication regarding his next move.
