Kabel BW launches HD DVR

German cable operator Kabel BW has launched a new HD DVR from Humax.

The iHD PVR-C box will enable customers to record programmes on its 320GB hard drive, including content from the 19 HDTV channels available on Kabel BW’s service. Customers can order the DVR for a one-off payment of €249.90 or monthly payments of €5 over a 24 month period.

The operator also offers a HD receiver without a hard drive, the iHD Fox C, which costs €129.90 or €2 per month.
