Belgacom changes package options

Belgian pay-TV operator Belgacom has rearranged its thematic channel packages. From February 1, customers will have the choice of seven new packages.

Belgacom is offering:

Kids package (€5/month): including Disney Cinemagic, Mangas, Cbeebies, Cbbc, Nick Hits and Nick Toons TV.

Entertainment package (€5/month): including BBC Entertainment, BBC Three, BBC HD and 13th Street.

Nature & Discovery package (€5/month): including Ushuaïa TV, Odyssée, National Geographic, National Geographic HD, History HD, Discovery Channel HD and Travel channel.

Music & Culture package (€5/month): including MTVN HD, MTV Brand New, TMF Dance, Exqi Culture, Télé Melody, Discovery Channel, Travel & Living, HD and BBC Four.

Nostalgie package (€5/month): including Télé Melody, HD, Vivolta, Mezzo, MTV Idol, Histoire, ESPN Classic, TV Breizh and TCM.

Sport & Pleasure package (€10/month): Including Belgacom 11 Multilive, Eurosport HD, Eurosport 2, AB Moteurs, Exqi Sport HD, ESPN Classic, ESPN HD, Extreme Sport, XXL and Dorcel TV.

X-Adult package (€14.95/month): including XXL, Dorcel TV and Man-X. 

The Select and Movie & Sports packages will remain, both priced at €14.95.

Belgacom is also changing its subscription options. The basic subscription, TV Comfort, will cost €18.50 per month for a decoder, over 70 channels including five in HD, trick play options, one free Jupiler Pro League football match per week and access to Belgacom’s VOD service.

The Favorite package will cost €27.50 per month for the same offers as the Comfort package plus €10 of credit to spend on thematic packages and one VOD transaction per month. The Intense package will cost €36.50 for the same offers as the Favourite package as well as four VOD transactions per month.
