BBC to broadcast Six Nations in HD

UK public broadcaster the BBC is to broadcast all matches in the Six Nations rugby championships in HD for the first time, kicking off with the Ireland-Italy match on February 6.

Matches will be simulcast on BBC1 and BBC HD (with the France-Italy match on March 14 to be shown on BBC2). All matches will also be streamed live on the BBC Sport website and will be made available on the BBC iPlayer service.
