Unitymedia offers new health channel

German cable operator Unitymedia has begun offering a new health channel, Focus Gesundheit, as part of its Digital TV Lifestyle pack.

The channel will offer a range of factual programming on health-related matters.

Unitymedia has also extended the coverage of two local channels to the eastern Ruhr area around Dortmund and the Münster area respectively. Center.tv Ruhr will be available to a further 460,000 homes in the Ruhr area in analogue and digital, while wm.tv will be available to an additional 180,000 homes in the Münster area.
