S4C to launch kids channel

Welsh language broadcaster S4C is to launch a digital service that will target kids aged between seven to 13 in April.

S4C will also expand its preschool TV service Cyw. It will look to expand the service, which launched in 2008, to include weekends. This move comes days after the House of Lords suggested the introduction of a tax credit for kids TV producers in the UK to boost local production.
