German cable operator Kabel Deutschland (KDG) has chosen technology provider Cedar Point to deliver SIP and IMS-based voice-over-IP residential phone services.
Cedar Point is providing its Safari C3 multimedia switching system to KDG. KDG said Cedar Point would support the companys migration to PacketCable 2.0-based telephony, enabling the company to deliver advanced services in the future.
