History Channel extends reach in Hungary

The History Channel has extended its reach in Hungary after the AETN-owned factual broadcaster inked a deal with pay-TV operator FiberNet.

The channel launched earlier this month and this moves continues its growing roll out in central and eastern Europe. The channel, which is fully localised in Hungarian, is already available via cablers UPC, T-Kabel, PR Telecom and Antenna Digital as well as DTH platform T-Sat. The channel will air series including Battles BC, Dead Men’s Secrets andIce Road Truckers.
