UPC Poland launches search engine, offers discount

UPC Poland has unveiled a new search function for its digital TV service.

The service gives TV viewers the choice of carrying out  basic or advanced searches. The former enables them to enter keywords such as film title or actor’s name using their remote control. The advanced option means users can search using defined categories including release date, genre and high- or standard-definition.

Separately, the cable operator has launched a new triple-play promotional offer. Customers can get 25-30Mbps broadband access, digital TV services including DVR and unlimited phone calls for PLN150 (€37) per month, a saving of up to PLN115 compared to purchasing each service separately. A 25% discount on installation costs also applies. The offer will run until March 31.
