YouTube has signed a two-year deal with the Indian Premier League (IPL) to broadcast live matches from the cricket tournament.
Viewers will be able to choose which camera angle to watch, as well as freeze or fast forward footage. In some markets where broadcasters hold rights to the IPL, YouTube viewers will be able to see delayed coverage.
Revenue from advertising and sponsorship will be shared by Google and the IPL.
