Teo to launch 200Mbps broadband

Lithuanian telco Teo will offer up to 200Mbps broadband to its residential customers from March.

Teo’s next-generation fibre network currently operates in more than 30 Lithuanian cities and by the end of the year will be available to approximately 95% of Vilnius and Klaipëda residents, 70% of Kaunas residents, half of Ðiauliai residents, and a third of Panevëþys residents. During the past three years, The telco has invested LTL160m (€46m) in the network. More than 62,000 customers use its services and that number is expected to grow to over 100,000 by the end of the year.
