CSA greenlights push-VOD trial

French media regulator the CSA has given a green light to pay-TV provider TV Numéric and transmission services provider TDF to test push video-on-demand and catch-up TV services to digital-terrestrial TV viewers.

The CSA’s authorisation will mean that TV Numéric and TDF, which is acting on behalf of broadcasters TF1, France Télévisions, Arte and NRJ 12, to carry out trials with the proviso that no content unsuitable for minors is delivered by the services.
