Liberty Global has denied press reports that it is eyeing various cable networks in Germany.
German newspaper Handelsblatt reported that the cable giant is planning a move for operators Kabel BW and Orion. However, a spokesperson for the company said such reports were pure speculationÂ, adding that there are currently no plans for further acquisitions in Germany.
Liberty Global, which owns and operates various European cable networks under its UPC Broadband division, announced in November that it would acquire German operator Unitymedia in a deal worth Â3.5bn.
