Mark Goldman, the founding chief operating officer of online and cable TV network Current TV, has created a high-definition lifestyle and wellbeing network called BE.
The channel will focus on yoga and wellness and target women aged 30-to-65. Goldman said that BE will have a TV and online presence although no carriage deals with pay TV operators have yet been confirmed. As well as working with Al Gore at Current Media, Goldman has served as president and chief operating officer of News Corp-backed Sky Latin America.
