Canal Plus weighs Brazil pay-TV move

Canal Plus is actively looking at launching pay-TV services in Brazil, Jean-Bernard Levy, CEO of the French pay-TV group’s parent company Vivendi said.

Vivendi bought Brazilian telco GVT last year and will use that as a vehicle if it pursues its early-stage plans to launch pay-TV in Brazil. Wire reports suggest that Vivendi is actively looking for a pay-TV CEO.
