UPC Poland adds History to VOD platform

Cable operator UPC Poland has begun offering content from the History and History HD channels on its on-demand platform to subscribers in Warsaw.

Subscribers using the UPC On-Demand service will be able to watch a range of programming from History, covering topics including lost worlds, ancient inventions and martial arts. Nearly half the content on offer will be available in HD. Subscribers to the Digital TV Max package can access on-demand content free of charge.

UPC said it would expand its VOD platform to Gdansk and Katowice this year.
