UPC Austria pleased with VOD launch

Cable operator UPC Austria has announced that 400,000 hours of films have been watched on its VOD service since it launched in June last year.

The most popular titles include Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince, Monsters vs Aliens, Brüno, Transformers Revenge of the Fallen and Twilight.

UPC’s on-demand platform launched on June 8 and offers films for between €1.98 and €5.98 each.
