Spain set for TV shake-up

The Spanish broadcasting business is set for a massive shake up after news that Cuatro and Telecinco are set to merge as well as a deal between Antena 3 and La Sexta.

Italian media company Mediaset and Spanish firm Prisa are set to merge Telecinco and Cuatro, according to reports, with Mediaset taking a stake in pay broadcaster Digital Plus, while Antena 3 and nascent free-to-air channel La Sexta are also in talks to merge.
