Italian authorities are considering bringing in legislation that would limit the amount of advertising on pay-TV.
The government is discussing a draft law that would regulate the amount of advertising that broadcasters including Sky Italia could air. While the move by Silvio Berlusconi would slightly impact on Mediaset, the effect would be felt much greater on News Corp-owned Sky Italia.
