Polish cable operator Aster has launched a new mobile internet package.
The operators mobile customers have a choice of paying PLN5 (Â1.2) a month to send up to 5MB of data, or paying PLN9 to send up to 45MB. According to Aster, the service is aimed at younger mobile users. Aster already offers an SMS package via OrangeÂs network in Poland, allowing subscribers to send up to 500 texts. The company claims to be the first cable operator in the Polish market to offer subscription-based mobile services, with 36,000 customers signed up by September 30.
