French telco Bouygues Telecom has launched new ethnic channels on its IPTV service, including an Arabic bouquet, after signing several deals with distributor Thema.
IPTV service Bbox, which already offers African channels in its Africain and Africain Premium bouquets, has launched an Arabic bouquet called Arabesque Pack, featuring channels from Arabic broadcaster ART including Hikayat, Hikayat Zaman, Iqra, LBC and MBC. A premium package is also available offering Aflam 1, Aflam 2, Art cinema, Art Prime Sport in addition to the basic channels.
The deal with Thema also sees Arabic kids channels Al Jazeera Children and Baream, Channel One Russia and Japanese channel JSTV added to the Bbox channel line-up.Â
