BBC Worldwide promotes Taite to VP programming

BBC Worldwide Channels has promoted John Taite to vice-president programming, EMEA.

Taite, who was named one of Digital TV Europe’s Euro 50 last month, was formerly director of programming. He joined BBC Worldwide Channels in September 2007 and has overseen the creation of 12 fully localised channels across EMEA, as well as the recently re-launched pan-regional channel BBC Entertainment.
