Sport1 acquires Dutch English Premier League rights

Liberty Global-owned Dutch premium sports channel Sport1 has acquired the exclusive rights to broadcast the next three seasons of the English Premier League.

The rights include broadcasting full matches live or highlights on TV, the internet and mobile phones. Sport1 recently added the German Bundesliga to its list of rights, which also includes Spain’s Primera División, Italy’s Serie A and the UEFA Champions League.
