NBC Universal Networks International is set to withdraw The Hallmark Channel from Israeli pay-TV platforms Hot and Yes is expected to replace it with the Universal Channel.
The move follows NBC Universals recent review of its channels in the country. Hallmark currently airs series including Law and Order and ER.
The international channel operator told local press: “Following challenging changes in the Israeli market, Universal Networks International has decided to end the airing of the Hallmark Channel in Israel. We are hopeful that we can offer a channel similar to Hallmark in the near future.”
