Sky renews WWE deal

UK pay-TV operator BSkyB has renewed its deal with the World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) organisation, which takes effect from January, 2010.

The new distribution deal gives BSkyB exclusive UK broadcast rights for WWE’s weekly programming and special events. BSkyB will broadcast over ten hours of action each week, including Raw, SmackDown, ECW, Bottom Line, AfterBurn, WWE Vintage Collection and This Week in WWE.
