Switzerland-based conditional access and TV technology company Kudelski has announced that it has closed the offering period for remaining OpenTV shareholders to tender their shares.
The tender offer officially closed at midnight eastern time on Wednesday,. Including those shares tendered in the initial offering period, shareholders of OpenTV had tendered approximately 77,677,149 Class A shares, representing approximately 83% of shares not owned by Kudelski or its subsidiaries. Upon the acquisition of the tendered shares, Kudelski will own approximately 96% of the voting rights in OpenTV.Â Â
