Russian mobile operator VimpelCom is to launch a pilot DVB-H mobile TV service in Moscow.
VimpelCom will begin selling mobile handsets supporting the DVB-H standard on December and will provide mobile TV services to existing subscribers free of charge during a test period. The service will consist of eight free TV channels and several additional pay channels.
