CSA launches consultation on DOM-TOM DTT

French media regulator the CSA has launched a series of public consultations ahead of calls for applicants for digital-terrestrial TV licences in its overseas territories and departments.

The CSA plans to create initial multiplexes comprising 10 channels, which will primarily be used for free-to-air services. Part of a second multiplex will be reserved for local TV services, with plans also to introduce one or two HD services.
