French commercial channels condemn new tax blow

France’s Association of Private Channels (ACP) has condemned the adoption by the French Senate of an amendment that would see the implementation of a new tax on revenues from phone-in programmes.

The ACP regretted what it called the arbitrary adoption of the new tax at a time when commercial channels were going through a particularly difficult period.
