Polish MSO Multimedia Polska ended September with a total of 98,000 digital cable TV and IPTV subscribers.
Nine-month revenue from digital TV services to the end of September reached PLN19m (4.6m), up from PLN6.7m a year earlier. Digital TV ARPU for the three months ending September 30 was PLN24.04, up PLN0.71 on the previous quarter.Â At the end of September, there were a total of 686,000 cable TV customers, including 31,000 premium channel customers, 1,000 fewer than in the previous quarter.
Multimedia Polska posted total revenues from cable TV services of PLN66.7m, up PLN1.8m on the previous quarter. The operator said the growth was driven by an 8.8% increase in cable TV RGUs, as well as customers migrating to higher-priced analogue packages.
The operator ended September with 311,000 broadband subs, generating third quarter revenues of PLN33m, and 197,000 telephony customers, generating revenues of PLN29.6m.
Total third quarter revenue was PLN132.6m, up PLN13.4m year-on-year, and EBITDA was PLN68.7m, up PLN8m.
