BT Vision performance disappointing

UK telco BT recorded an increase of 18,000 subscribers for its IPTV service BT Vision in the third quarter. This brings the total number of subs to 436,000. The company said that this was below expectations and came as a result of a seasonal slowdown.

However, it added that its existing customers were taking more services. “The total number of views in the quarter was 34 million, an increase of 14% from the first quarter, representing an average of 35 views per customer per month,” it noted.
