TF1 returns to profit

French free-to-air broadcaster TF1 has recorded third-quarter net profit of €2m, reversing a net loss of €14m in the same period a year ago.

Revenues declined 3% year-on-year in the quarter, taking the total to €486m. Advertising revenue declined 6%, a considerably smaller loss than the 19% posted in the second quarter and 27% in the first.
