MTVNI appoints general manager for Hungary

MTV Networks International has appointed Gábor Horváth Dori as general manager, MTV Networks Hungary, which is part of MTVNI’s Emerging Markets group.

Horváth Dori will be responsible for the overall management of MTVNI’s businesses in Hungary, which span various brands including localised Hungarian MTV, Comedy Central and VIVA services. Additionally, he will oversee the day-to-day operation of MTVNI’s businesses in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Romania, Bulgaria and Adriatic region. He joins from Chello Central Europe, where he was general manager, responsible for the company’s multi-territory operations in Budapest, Bucharest, Prague, Sofia and Warsaw.

Additionally, Gábor Vörös has been promoted to the newly created position of deputy general manager, MTV Networks Hungary. He joined MTV Networks Hungary in 2006 and has been responsible for overseeing the launches of localised MTV and Comedy Central services in Hungary.
