Polands leading DTH operator Cyfrowy Polsat added 73,000 subscribers during the third quarter, giving it a subscriber base of 2,917,000 at the end of September. This means the operator attracted 514,000 subs in the 12 months to the end of September.
During the quarter, 80% of customers, or 2,343,000, subscribed to the family/premium packages, 32,000 more than in the previous quarter, with the remaining taking mini/mini max packages. ARPU from the family/premium packages remained stable at PLN40.30 (Â9.60) per month but rose to PLN9.30 from PLN8.60 for the mini/mini max packages.
Third quarter revenue was PLN323m, up 11% year-on-year. EBITDA was down 24% to PLN83m.
