French cable operator Numericable has signed a deal with housing organisation the Office Public dAménagement et de Construction (OPAC) of the city of Tours to offer its Service Unique Numerique (SUN) offer (targeted at low-income households) to Tours residents.
Under the deal, Numericable will offer the SUN, which provides a basic triple-play service for Â4 a month, to the Tours OPACÂs 11,375 households. To date, NumericableÂs SUN offer, which was launched two years ago, has been taken up by 215,000 households across the country.
