German telco Deutsche Telekom ended September with 678,000 installed T-Entertain IPTV customers, although it claims to have sold 885,000 subscriptions. At the end of June, it had 561,000 subscribers installed and had sold 721,000 subscriptions.
The number of retail broadband lines operated by Deutsche Telekom increased by 1.1 million year-on-year to a total of 11.3 million at the end of the third quarter.
In Germany, the telco reported third quarter revenue of 6.5bn, of which Â4.7bn came from its fixed line business.
