UPC Poland makes BBC Lifestyle available in analogue

Cable operator UPC Poland is making the BBC Lifestyle channel available on its analogue tier in the agglomeration of Warsaw and Katowice, Krakow, Wroclaw, Opole, Tri-city, Szczecin, Bydgoszcz, Kielce, Lublin, Kedzierzyn Kozle, Lubin and Czestochowa.

The channel was previously available in digital. UPC Poland has a policy of making digital programming available in a ‘window’ on analogue to encourage subscribers to upgrade.

The cable operator has also teamed up with BBC Lifestyle to launch a competition based on Ramsay’s Kitchen Nightmares, offering a weekend cooking course at Warsaw’s Kurt Scheller Academy as its first prize.
