TVN sees slow pay-TV growth

Polish broadcast group TVN has posted lacklustre growth of at pay-TV service ‘n’ for the third quarter. 

The company recorded 571,000 subscribers, however, analysts said that this was the second consecutive quarter of disappointing growth and the company was unlikely to reach its year-end target of 766,000. TVN is reportedly set to increase its stake in the pay-TV service from ITI Group. TVN is set to invest a further PLN500m (€118m) into the company, which it owns 51%, to prove to international investors that the market is secure.
