Richard Eyre, the former boss of media firm GCap Media, has been shortlisted for the job of chairman of British broadcaster Channel 4.
Eyre reportedly joins a shortlist of five names including Lord Alli, chairmen of kids TV firm Chorion. The broadcaster is also looking for a chief executive following Andy Duncan’s announcement that he will leave the company this year. UKTV boss David Abraham and former BBC2 controller Jane Root are reportedly in the running for that position.
