Numericable adds Arabic and Turkish channels

Channel distributor Thema is delivering new Arabic and Turkish channels to French cable operator Numericable’s Belgian network.

The Arabia package has added four family-oriented channels, including movie channels Art cinema and Art Aflam 1, Art Prime Sport and entertainment channel Art Hekayat. Meanwhile, Al Jazeera-owned kids channel Baraem has been added to the TV Plus package, taking the total number of Arabic channels on Numericable to 17.

Numericable has also added football channel Lig TV and movie channel Turkmax to the Turk Plus package. In addition, music channel Powerturk and entertainment channel Show Turk have been added to the TV Plus package. Numericable now broadcasts 13 Turkish channels.
