Sykes leaves Tiscali TV

Jonathan Sykes has stepped down from his role as managing director of Tiscali TV, according to trade magazine Media Week.

UK telco Tiscali’s IPTV service was sold to Carphone Warehouse earlier this year for £236m (€259m). At the time, Charles Dunstone, CEO of the mobile phone retailer and ISP, said the company was examining whether its Talk Talk broadband and telephony business should expand Tiscali’s TV service.

Skyes was previously CEO of Premium TV, a subsidiary of cable company NTL, and before that was general manager of Sky Sports.
