Canal Plus airs big budget internet-only show

Canal Plus today launches the latest in a series of shows to be distributed exclusively over the internet.

Kali, a series of 12 episodes of six minutes, to be streamed on Mondays and Thursdays for the next six weeks, is a thriller built around the adventures of a young amnesiac English girl who wakes up on the Eurostar to discover her body has been enhanced via nanotechnology, giving her special powers. The series, which reportedly cost close to €1m to make, will be aired on TV as a 90-minute special in December.
