EBU names international TV channels group chief

EBU The European Broadcasting Union has named Jan Hoek, general director of Radio Netherlands Worldwide, as the chair of its international broadcasting group.

The EBU’s international broadcasting group comprises all European international broadcasters including Deutsche Welle, Radio France Internationale/France 24 and the BBC World Service. The appointment is for two years.
