UPC Netherlands expected to add RTL HD channels

Cable operator UPC Netherlands is expected to add the HD versions of channels RTL 7 and RTL 8 to its line-up, according to local press.

The move follows the signing of a deal between RTL Netherlands and UPC that saw the former’s new RTL Lounge channel recently launch on UPC’s network.

The Netherlands’ other major leading cable operator Ziggo is, meanwhile, still in negotiations for the carriage of RTL’s channels on its network.
