Al Jazeera launches new mobile application

Qatar-based international news channel Al Jazeera has launched a mobile application that gives access to the channel’s Arabic and English-language programmes live and on-demand for users of Symbian and Windows Mobile phones globally.

The application, developed by Mobiclip, will run on WiFi, 3G and Edge networks and offers live viewing of the news channels as well as video news on-demand.
