Virgin Media has confirmed its intention to proceed with a secondary listing on the London Stock Exchange.
The UK cable operator has lodged an application with the UK Financial Services Authority and said it is expected to begin trading on the London Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol VMED at 08:00 on October 1.
The primary listing for the shares of common stock of Virgin Media will continue to be the NASDAQ Global Select Market and the company is not issuing any new common shares in connection with its London listing.
