Mediaset within 20% digital broadcasting threshold

Italy’s telecom’s antitrust body Agcom has ruled that broadcaster Mediaset does not exceed the 20% threshold of digital broadcasting capacity set by legislation, according to local reports.

Agcom had opened an enquiry based on the Gasparri Law, which was adopted in 2004 to regulate Italy’s digital switchover process. It has now closed the inquiry.
