UK digital switchover to pass one million homes

The UK digital switchover process will pass its millionth home this week, according to Digital UK, the organisation set up to communicate switchover to the public.

Over 300,000 homes in Wales and the West Country will cease to receive analogue over-the-air transmissions on September 9.

According to Digital UK, about 10% of UK homes are still watching analogue TV on their main set.
